On the 27 and 28 Septembter the DBI – Gastechnologisches Institut invited to the DBI-Fachforum Energy Storage in Berlin. During the two-day meeting topics of the gas industry were discussed with participants from the industry. The presentations focused on the future of the gas industry and how it can participate in a decarbonized world. Therefore, not only the legal framework and necessary changes were discussed but also current Power-to-Gas-projects and their results were presented. In this series of presentations, the LENA was represented with its sector coupling project SmartMES. In a relaxed atmosphere during the evening event, the current challenges of the gas industry were further deepened and intensively discussed.
