22.05.2024 -

We know the challenges we face: the increase in extreme weather events associated with climate change and the daily reality of cyber threats, as well as the increased demands on the resilience and reliability of our grid design. As a university, we have been trying to figure out how to address these issues for years.” The 2024 IEEE PES T&D Conference and Exposition in Anaheim is critical to the industry's and university’s ability to thrive. There were countless networking opportunities with leading experts, groundbreaking products and services on the largest exhibit floor ever at this show, and unparalleled technical education. Information on panel discussions, tutorials, super sessions and much more were another highlight of this conference.

From May 6 to 9, LENA was represented by Professor Martin Wolter and Eric Glende to find contacts for research projects and learn about the latest research and industry developments. They also presented their own work from the PROGRESS project (testing curative relief measures in extra-high and high-voltage grids).
