Visit of OMICRON at LENA
On Wednesday, 04/19/2023, the LENA Chair received a visit from the Omicron company. Omicron is a major manufacturer of test and diagnostic equipment for condition assessment of primary and secondary devices in electrical power engineering. Four employees of the company traveled to the OVGU campus in the morning with their own roadshow truck and exhibited their entire range of measurement solutions. Several customers were invited in the morning and were trained and informed in several presentations. There was a lot of opportunity for exchange of experiences and discussion. From 2:00 p.m. onwards, all students were invited to visit the truck and get information about the company, the products as well as career opportunities. Many students took the opportunity to get into conversation over coffee and cake. After the official agenda, a barbecue was held and the event ended with cold drinks and in a relaxed atmosphere.
