The 11th Mediterranean Conference on Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Energy Conversion was held on 12-15 November  2018 in Cavtat.

In 2018, IEEE ISGT Europe will be organized in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The ISGT Europe 2018 is the 8th IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Conference sponsored by the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES).

On the 27 and 28 Septembter the DBI – Gastechnologisches Institut invited to the DBI-Fachforum Energy Storage in Berlin. During the two-day meeting topics of the gas industry were discussed with participants from the industry.

Am 22.08.2018 fand erstmalig ein Treffen zwischen der Landesenergieagentur Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH (LENA) und dem Lehrstuhl für Elektrische Netze und Erneuerbare Energie (LENA) an der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität statt.

Die Technische Universität lud vom 20.-21.08. auf den Ilmenauer Campus zum ILMA-Forschergruppentreffen ein. Das alljährliche Zusammenkommen der Forscherinnen und Forscher aus Ilmenau und Magdeburg fand damit zum dritten Mal statt und beinhaltete einen regen Austausch aktueller Forschung sowie Ideen für neue Projekte.
