LENA at the SEPOC 2024 in Brazil

The 16th Seminar on Power Electronics and Control (SEPOC 2024) took place from 20 to 23 October 2024 at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in Brazil and was represented by Anuraq Sharma, a master's student of the LENA Chair. This hybrid format conference focuses on advances in power electronics and control, with the 2024 theme being ‘Smart Energy Systems for the Future: Optimising Control and Efficiency’, which focuses on innovations in control systems, smart grids and energy efficiency.

LENA at the PESS 2024 in Dresden

The IEEE Power and Energy Student Summit (PESS) 2024 conference took place from October 21-23 in Dresden’s historical city center. The event, which was held in the cosy setting of the Bärenzwinger student club, offered students in the field of power and electrical engineering an ideal platform for in-depth discussions and networking. Representing the LENA chair were Dr. Leonardo Nogueira Fontoura da Silva, visiting researcher, along with students Renata Rodrigues Lautert and João Pedro Scherer Cipriani.
