On 21st of December 2022, Tahaguas Woldu was awarded the title of Dr.-Ing. after his defense on the topic "Modeling and Simulation of Power System Dynamics for Studying the Impacts of Increasing Wind Power in a Weak Grid System".

The two professors, Fabio Bisogno and Mauricio Sperandio, from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria in Brazil are guests at LENA until end of 2022.
Control center tour with specialists from the Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium
On Monday, July 4th, 2022, a working group on energy systems from the Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium came to visit our control center. Interested pupils from the 6th to the 11th grade and 2 teachers got to know the tasks of a grid operator in system operation.
